Steps to Undo Sent Message on iPhone
Step 1 – Go to Messages on your iPhone and tap on a conversation.
Step 2 – Here, touch and hold the message you want to cancel.
Step 3 – Now tap Cancel Send here. After that, the message will disappear from the chat and a notification saying “You have not sent a message” will appear.
Note that you can cancel a sent message up to 2 minutes after sending it.
Steps to Undo Edit Message on iPhone
Step 1 – Open Messages on your iPhone and tap on a conversation.
Step 2 – Touch and hold the message you want to edit.
Step 3 – Now just tap on the Edit icon. Here, make changes to your post and then tap the checkmark to finalize the post. If you don’t want to make the changes, you can press the X to return to the original message.
It’s worth noting that the word “Edited” will appear below the post you’re editing. Also, anyone can tap on the word “Edited” to see the history of edits. Apple says a user can edit a message up to five times within 15 minutes of sending it.
